“OI” Melbourne launch!

“OI: poewemz bii tom see” will be launched in Melbourne on SATURDAY 4 September 2004 at 2pm!

Join us at Collected Works Bookshop (1st Floor, Nicholas Building, 37 Swanston Street Melbourne) for an intimate and bookish launch, with free wine and nibblies provided.

Collected Works is revered in the poetry community as housing the most comprehensive collection of poetry and poetics in the southern hemisphere. Proprietors (aka curators) Kris and Retta Hemensley are long-standing supporters of the Melbourne poetry scene, having provided a friendly venue for launches and readings for many years.

The launch of “OI” will consist of a few words from Cordite editor and COD founder David Prater, followed by readings of poewemz from tom's collection. At the conclusion of the launch, we will in all probability retire to a suitably commodious establishment for further wines, nibblies and verse from COD's inaugural bard!
